OUR MISSION

Mr. Anderson hopes to bring hope and trust for all citizens of Richland County, not just District 7. He plans to be a voice for the citizens of the County.

One of his main focuses will be to increase services for the elderly, including available health care. Kiba plans to concentrate on ensuring quality education; improve the county’s infrastructure and improving the County’s and the City’s working relationships.

Having an 88 year old grandmother and learning how limited resources are for the elderly has inspired him to run for public office. Also, limited after school activities for the youth in his opinion plays a major role in why we have so many youth joining gangs.

ELECT KIBA ANDERSON

First, I want to thank all of you who supported and voted for me in the June 10th Primary.
Second, I truly need your support.
June 24th is right around the corner and we must work extremely hard to “get out thevoters” to ensure my election to County Council District 7.

Below, I have listed the functions and duties of County Council for those of you who may not be sure what the responsibilities entail:

  • Adopt and amend ordinances and resolutions;
  • Determine how much money is to be spent for what purposes, according to the needs and priorities set by Council;
  • Determine what County taxes are to be levied;
  • Approve contracts, agreements, and bids; and
  • Appoint citizens to various boards and committees.

It is a new day and time for a change. It is time for new ideas, innovations and getting the job done. I have the energy; I’m vivacious, tenacious, a leader, a consensus builder and ready to work for you and to give back to my community. My promise to you is to be “A TrueVoice for the People” of Richland County. I will always be accessible, attentive and will make open communication a priority for my constituents at all times.
